Message to my younger self

Hey,

Another new year has come around, and it’s our birth month again — this time, we’re turning 30. Can you believe it? I just want you to know that we’re stronger than ever. Life has thrown its share of ups and downs at us, but somehow, I’ve managed to get through it all — barely at times, but we made it.

If I could sit down with you right now, I’d tell you so much. I’d warn you about the mistakes, the heartbreaks, and the struggles ahead. I’d do anything to save you from the pain we’ve endured. But at the same time, I realize those challenges shaped us into who we are today. Every tear, every setback — it all contributed to our growth.

So, I want to say this: enjoy where you are right now. Savor the moments. Love the people around you deeply, because you never know how much time you have with them. Some relationships won’t last forever. Some bridges will burn, and they might never be rebuilt. That’s okay — it’s part of life.

Most importantly, be kind to yourself. Learn to forgive yourself for the things you didn’t know, the mistakes you made, and the times you fell short. You’re doing your best, and that’s enough.

You’ve got this.

With love,
Your older self
